Formers and guides support the pipe which is being bent to ensure that little or no deformation occurs when compressing the pipe during bending. The former is an accurately machined casting which supports the inside of the bend. The guide supports the pipe on the outside of the bend. (for copper and stainless steel pipe) Supplied in a case.
