Faithfull VDE pliers are made from chrome vanadium steel and undergo stringent high voltage tests. The quality of the insulated slip-guard safety handles and the induction hardened edges is assured. VDE rated tools can safely be used when working on live electrical wires at voltasges of up to 1000volts AC. All Faithfull VDE rated pliers have been tested according to IEC900, DIN-EN-60900 and VDE 0680 part 2. This standard applies to both insulated, and insulating, hand tools.
