Powerfiles work in a similar fashion to belt sanders but are much narrower, the belt being only 13mm (1/2in) wide. Because the belt protrudes from the front of the machine they can be used for sanding in recesses which are greater than the belt width. With the appropriate belt the Powerfile can also be used for cleaning and sharpening metal tools. Speed of 900 to 1,400 m/min. 350w Motor. 240 Volt.
